- Chi-Gung Methodologies - Qigong, Chi Kung
- My sole intention of writing this book was not to create a nail-biting cliff-hanger, but I wish the reader to read on, and work a little, before I reveal some new information concerning Li Ching Yuen, and the Dragon Gate Sect.
This brings us to the first rule of finding a qualified instructor; make sure they are at least adequate in one of the three Internal Martial Arts. They are: Tai Chi Chuan, Baguazhang, and Xingyiquan. If they don’t meet this prerequisite, then they should be at least a Black belt in some form of Japaneese Martial Art.
For the novice reading this, fear not, for I will delineate (in my humble opinion) the correct steps of learning sound Chi-Gung; as to eliminate the chance of you ever getting hoodwinked by a crafty, chi-gung, medicine-hawk.

- Tai Chi Chuan Workshop - Sidi Bou Said park, Tunis, Tunisia
- On Feb. the 18th and 19th, Sifu Ariel Betti & Sifu Mohamed Gha held an exclusive Tai Chi Chuan workshop for willing participants. Tunisia finally saw a break in the cold weather, as the two warmest days of winter shined on the event with a gracious radiance. The atmosphere was conducive to friendly exercise and challenging calisthenics. The theme of the workshop was the main animals represented in Tai Chi Chuan; such as the Tiger, Swan, Cock, Snake, Monkey and Bear.

- Blog
- I get alot of emails from people seeking advice concerning Internal Martial Arts practice and what my opinions are on what I think is real and I what I feel is fake in the realms of Wushu, Kung Fu, and MMA in general. I decided to created this little Blog, and highlight some of my ideas, profiling Sifus, teachers and enthusiasts who I take a liking to in their approach to Martial Arts.
If you live in the NY area, I would suggest checking out this vetted Sifu of Internal Martial Arts and Combat training. I have been following this man via Youtube for many years and I have to say, I am more and more impressed as the years pass bye by his fortitude, drive and approach of realism in his training and teaching methodology. Bringing the traditional style of Baguazhang into the foregrounds of the MMA world, Novell has managed to inculcate this ancient fighting style into the training regimens of contemporary MMA-Octagon fighting hopefuls. There are very few Sifu's who are willing and able to stick their neck out on the line for something they believe in, and this is exactly what Sifu Bell has managed to do with a graceful charisma and unique training style. Thanks you Novell for representing Traditional Chinese Martial Arts! I invite my readers and critics to check him out on Youtube, or at his home page: www.blacktaoist.com

This website
was created to incite interactive-diaglogue with Fight-Science (Boxing, Kung Fu, Internal Martial
Arts) practitioners around the world. In the wake of the IMA boom across the Western Hemisphere (sometime
around the early 90's) scholars and researchers have cast an introspective looking-glass upon Chinese culture and philosophy, to help dissertate knowledge concerning:
health, exercise and self defense.
Tai Chi Chuan,
Baguzhang and Xingyi (the three martial treasures) remain fixed on the pedestal of Chinese excellences, in
conjunction with the, rich, deeply-rooted
practices of Nei-gung and Chi Gung (Qigong.) Ancient Chinese monks were forever contemplating the elevation of the
human spirit through breath control, physical disciplines, and patterned movements; to stave off the onset of
depravity, sickness & geriatric atrophy.
Fightmonks is
abundantly dedicated to the
unveiling of methods and techniques of Pugilism, in the spirit of science, to
further educate and enlighten mankind, so that we may become more in tune with our mind, body, and soul--finding a
deeper harmony, which may strike a common cord with people of different ethnicity, culture, &
creed.
