On Feb. the 11th & 12th Ariel Betti (in conjunction with calligraphy teacher Zhang Jin Ming) held a wonderful workshop in Marsa Villa, Tunis at the Espace Yoga & Tai Chi Chuan center. Many participants gathered to take part in the relaxing event, which included: Tai Chi Chuan, Chi Gung, Caligraphy, and Meditation. The mood was relaxing and uplifting as guests followed Sifu Ariel Betti through a multiplicity of light Chinese calisthenics, (Nei Gung) Tai Chi Chuan movements, and Chi Gung. Hot tea flowed, soon filling the many cups, as Zhang Jin Ming led the participants in an introspective conversation on the Chinese language and caligraphy. Her presentation was well recieved, as the guests randomly chose a Chinese nickname; taking up the paintbrush to get a first hand chance at stroking their signatures into the canvas of time. This event marked the second workshop of the year for Sifu Ariel Betti, who has a long lineup of activities scheduled in 2012 for Martial Arts and health enthusiests. This weekend is anticipated to be a hallmark date at Sidi Bou Said park, as Sifu Ariel Betti and Sifu Muhammad Gha are coming together for an entertaining Tai Chi Chuan workshop-- for beginners and advanced players alike. Please contact Ariel Betti for more details and locaton instructions. Cheers! WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

This website was created to incite interactive-diaglogue with Fight-Science (Boxing, Kung Fu, Internal Martial Arts) practitioners around the world. In the wake of the IMA boom across the Western Hemisphere (sometime around the early 90's) scholars and researchers have cast an introspective looking-glass upon Chinese culture and philosophy, to help dissertate knowledge concerning: health, exercise and self defense.

Tai Chi Chuan, Baguzhang and Xingyi (the three martial treasures) remain fixed on the pedestal of Chinese excellences, in conjunction with the, rich, deeply-rooted practices of Nei-gung and Chi Gung (Qigong.) Ancient Chinese monks were forever contemplating the elevation of the human spirit through breath control, physical disciplines, and patterned movements; to stave off the onset of depravity, sickness & geriatric atrophy.

Fightmonks is abundantly dedicated to the unveiling of methods and techniques of Pugilism, in the spirit of science, to further educate and enlighten mankind, so that we may become more in tune with our mind, body, and soul--finding a deeper harmony, which may strike a common cord with people of different ethnicity, culture, & creed.
